Hi! My name is Jonny Braun and it is my joy to tune, clean, and repair pianos. I am a proud member of the Piano Technicians Guild. I have tuned for Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter John Legend and continue to further my knowledge under veteran piano technicians in the guild. With over 30 years of musical training, I have enjoyed being a pianist, choir director, singer-songwriter, drummer, and guitarist. At age five, I began piano lessons, then at eleven, I started drum lessons under the son of legendary drummer Ginger Baker! By age thirteen, I was writing original compositions on the piano, which would pave the way for my bachelor’s degree in music composition. I played snare drum with my high school’s 200-member marching band and played percussion with the wind ensemble and orchestra. After high school, I was invited to participate in the famous New Year’s Rose Parade in Pasadena, California.

During college, I majored in vocal performance and earned an AA from Fullerton Community College in Southern California. After that, I earned my Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Saint Katherine in San Diego. Immediately after graduating college in 2014, I became a full-time music director, youth pastor, and Byzantine chanter at an Orthodox Christian Cathedral in Los Angeles. I also co-founded and directed a young adult choir during that time. After meeting my lovely wife, I moved to Northwest Arkansas in 2019. We got married during Covid, and now have a wonderful young family. On the side, I direct the choir at our church and write songs. Check out my original music here.
